Green Belts with Brown Tip and Deputy Brown Belts

Children’s Classes

Your class times are the same as at green belt.  The Green Belt/Brown Tip class is offered twice a week, for Green Level Belts only: on Mondays and Thursdays at 5:00 p.m.  These are absolutely the best classes to attend so that we can ensure your progress and happiness in the program.

You may also choose to attend the “green tip and up” classes offered 3 other times during the week.   These will combine all ranks between Green Tip and Black Belt.  They are available on Tuesdays at 5:30p.m., Wednesdays at 4:30p.m. and Saturdays at 11:00a.m.  See the Schedule for more help with your class times.

Teens/Adult Classes

Your class times have not changed. The Intermediate classes meet Mondays thru Thursdays at 7:30 p.m.  You are also eligible and encouraged to come to the specialized and advanced classes at 6:30 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays.   See the teen Schedule or the adult Schedule  for more help with your class times.

To help you in making a choice whether or not to enter the defensive option, you should begin attending the line drill class on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:00 p.m. It is a 30-minute workout and is essential in helping you choose between the offensive and defensive options.

XMA Team and the Master’s Club Upgrade

At this level there is a new membership upgrade available to you.  The XMA instructors will invite children and teens of green belt or higher to join the XMA team at two points each year.  If you would like your child to be a part of the team, you must be on a master’s club membership.  Children, teens and adults on master’s club memberships can take part in our Master’s classes, taught on Mondays at 6:30 p.m. for teens and adults and Wednesdays at 4:30p.m. for children, geared towards weapons training.  Adults and teens may also use a Master’s club membership to cross train in one or more of the other arts we offer.  See Mr. Josh Olevsky for details.

Supplies

At this level we recommend you purchase, a bo staff and bo case since you will begin to use the bo in your training.  You may also wish to purchase a heavy weight uniform, Kata DVD and karate workbook if you have not already done so.
